Product description & origin

Barberries, called Zereshk in Persian, are small, tart, fruity berries that are cultivated and harvested, particularly in the Khorasan region. After harvesting, they are gently dried to preserve their natural red color, intense aroma, and characteristic flavor. Zereshk is a central ingredient in Persian cuisine and is primarily used in rice dishes such as Zereshk Polo.
